The massive, unspoiled beaches and lush, jungle-covered mountains rising in the background create a serene and secluded atmosphere. As you stumble upon the little towns scattered along the coastline, you quickly realize you're not in Samara or Santa Teresa anymore and you’ve stumbled on something just waiting to be discovered. At the same time, you know it’s something you want to protect. That yin & yang was the inspiration for Coldwell Banker Playa Coyote.
Meet Gustavo Alvarado, a Costa Rica native who’s spent the last seven years in Samara. A trained nurse assistant, operator of a beer garden in Switzerland, a surfer and a multi-linguist, Gustavo has been doing real estate in Samara for the past five years and spent the last three years exploring the Nandayure region. He’s befriended many locals and foreigners and feels at home in Coyote. When his vision for the office was forming, it was with the intention of helping his countrymen navigate the inevitable development that is coming.
As if the universe was working with us, a real estate colleague introduced us to someone he had been mentoring who was born and raised in Coyote. That’s when we welcomed Victor Chaves to the team. Following opportunity, Victor has been commuting to Nosara to work, and wants to return to his roots in Coyote. He has strong ties with the community and is committed to helping his friends and neighbors benefit from future development and to bring opportunity to the Coyote community.
